Trina: The Wind Insider

Hello. My name is Trina and I am excited to write to you from inside 88.3 The Wind. Let me tell you briefly how I wound up here. Do you remember those high school teachers and college professors telling you about career paths? Somewhere in the discussion they mentioned “first career, second career, and maybe third career!” I didn’t believe that one person could experience more than one career in a lifetime…and then it happened to me.

I did my college work, graduated, and used my degree in computer information systems. Along the way I realized the office world was not for me and I longed for a career with more zest. I longed to encourage, inspire, and uplift others. The wonderful world of the internet, and lots of praying, brought me to 88.3 The Wind. With my interest in becoming a radio personality and doing voice work, as well as writing, I searched the internet.  A few Googles later and here I am writing to you from an insiders point-of-view at 88.3.

Life presents us with many paths and each is it’s own journey. It isn’t always easy to know which path to take or what the journey will be like as we travel down the trail. Decisions in life can be tough, but life can be easier and a bit more fun with a positive perspective. As an “optomist in training” looking for a positive perspective can be a challenge, but it’s well worth the risk.

So, here I am as an “insider” here at 88.3 The Wind with hopes to bring you along my path as I learn new things in a positive light. I’ll be bringing you updates via Twitter and Facebook about what’s happening here at The Wind. I am always looking for a inspirational quote to lift my spirits so I will Tweet those too.
